On July 9, 2003, 2SJ gave permission to Aaron Parker for shows to be hosted at the Archive:
>Now that i'm sure the 2SJ's allows taping here is one last question for you. Can they be added to archive.org?
Aaron - Looks good. Tell us what you would need from us? Will you be posting the shows? - s
Policy Notes
(as reported to Aaron Parker)
2sj basically goes club policy. They dont care if you take pictures, videotape the show, or record on MD, DAT, etc. If the club lets you in, more power to you. If the club wont allow taping, the fellas arent going to go to bat for anyone to let their equip in, but they do not discourage taping in any way.
As for SBD, again thats club policy. Often lately 2sj has been using house soundmen. SOmetimes they do travel with their own, and these last few shows likely they will have their own. Atrangers dont have the greatest luck getting board patches, but I also cant say its never happened. You know the answer is no if you do not ask, it doesnt hurt to ask. I hope this helps. If you get a nice recording are are willing to part ways with a copy on cd, we're always looking to expand the archive on good sounding stuff.
Special Admin Note for uploads containing a number in the band abbreviation prefix: In these cases only, please add a dash between the prefix and date in the directory name (foo4tet-2002-02-02.shnf) so the import software will work. Usually, directory names must not have the dash (footet2002-02-02.shnf) to be imported. Numbers in the abbreviation are special cases.
